Orange Kush Cake sounds like the perfect cannabis dessert…and it is. It is a complex cross of Wedding Cake and Jilly Bean, that is then bred with a 3 way crossing of Sour Tangie, Rose Zkittles, and OG Eddy Lepp. Complex as its genetics are, it still manages to balance out to an estimated 50/50 hybrid.
At first viewing, what stands out most about Orange Kush Cake is the thick clumps of fiery orange pistils, that are frayed and fuzzy, coated in amber-trichomes. The curly, olive leaves boast streaks of violet, with the entire buds coated in fuzzy yellow trichome hairs.
The aroma of Orange Kush Cake is rich, with orange-citrus and sandalwood. The taste is similar, with a tangy, orange-citrus flavor, and woody undertones.
Although this strain has been rated strong by some, our batch was not. Despite the 20% THC, the cerebral buzz was relatively mild among our reviewers. The muscles and nerves of the body did feel more relaxed for most, and not surprisingly, the dominant terpene is Beta Myrcene. Reviewers sugggested Orange Kush Cake would be great for those prone to anxiety/panic attacks, and those looking for solid Indica benefits, without the lazy, stoney, haze that comes with some indica-dominant strains. Orange Kush Cake is a great tasting hybrid, that packs a nice body buzz but still allows you to keep it together upstairs, making some recommend it for mornings before a productive day.
This was the first strain i bought when i moved to a new city all on my own. got me through some lonely nights. i’m seriously emotionally attached to this strain 🤍
One thing I love the mostly about this strain is it relieves the pains very effectively. I happen to have this strain on hand and was in alot of pain due to the surgery. Post-surgery pain. I was smoking it to relax so I can sleep somehow at that moment I did not have any painkiller pills on hand for two days until I get help with pick my pills. After I smoked it, I noticed the pain reduce greatly within 15-30 minutes and made the pain to be more bearable! I am very impressed with this strain and personally & highly recommend that anyone to use OK as painkiller. I swear by its potential with improve the pains. I also tried it with my migraines, and yes, it helps to reduce migraine pain. I have issue with migraines since 12 years old.
I was going to write a review for this strain but everyone is already commenting why I would say. And it’s all true. Great cerebral experience (not what I was expecting, but I loved it). Then you get a more of a body effect and is completely relaxing. Definitely would recommend.
I like this strain. Very relaxing and it has a somewhat strong smell of roses.
My new favorite strain. I’ve been looking for a good indica for awhile now to help with my insomnia. This did the trick! Very smooth high; my body felt totally relaxed, almost like a massage. Good flavor, very sweet & airy citrus taste. It gave me a worry free happy high, but I was still able to function just fine. I cooked an awesome cedar plank salmon dinner and got a killer workout in while smoking this before falling asleep. I felt completely rested when I woke up the next morning.
Just grew a fresh batch , and I can honestly say I’m blown away . Amazing body high . . And beware of smoking tooooo much of this strain . #CouchLock4Life 😂✌️
